The following is an alphabetical list of industry associations that are helpful to members of the group travel industry.

American Bus Association

The American Bus Association, the trade association of the intercity bus industry, represents the motorcoach industry’s interests in Washington, D.C. It also facilitates relationships between North American motorcoach and tour companies and all related segments of the travel and supplier industries and promotes travel by motorcoach to consumers.


American Society of Travel Agents

ASTA, short for the American Society of Travel Agents, is the world’s largest association of travel professionals. Its 24,000 members include travel agents and the companies whose products they sell, such as tours, cruises, hotels, car rentals, etc. We are the leading advocate for travel agents, the travel industry and the traveling public.


The California Travel Industry Association

The California Travel Industry Association (CalTIA), incorporated in 1981, is the official voice of the California travel industry. It is an independent nonprofit association unifying California's many travel-related businesses to ensure the future health of tourism through its collective strength.


Circle Michigan

Circle Michigan is a statewide association of members that includes tour suppliers, attractions, destination marketing organizations, ferry services, hotels/motels, receptive operators/step-on guide services, festivals, and restaurants. Founded in 1980, Circle Michigan helps tour companies plan and execute successful Michigan tours.


Holland Area Chamber of Commerce

Representing a cross section of more than 1,400 retailers, manufacturers and service providers, the Holland Area Chamber of Commerce is the voice of area businesses.


The Kentucky Tourism Council

The Kentucky Tourism Council (KTC) unites the state's most progressive and innovative travel-related businesses - attractions, hotels, motels, marinas, resorts, festivals, restaurants, tourism commissions, convention and visitors bureaus, and chambers of commerce - to promote Kentucky's tourism industry.


The Louisiana Travel Promotion Association

The Louisiana Travel Promotion Association is a nonprofit, private sector trade association representing the state's travel and hospitality industry. LTPA offers cooperative programs at significant savings so that members can buy more, do more, and achieve more.


The Mississippi Tourism Association

The Mississippi Tourism Association is dedicated to the promotion and service to the Magnolia State's travel industry.  The membership of over 400 is committed to representing the voice of tourism and promotes the hospitality industry .


National Tour Association

National Tour Association is an organization of Tourism Professionals focused on the development, promotion, and increased use of tour operator packaged travel. NTA membership includes tour companies, tour suppliers, and destination marketing organizations from all over the world.


The Ohio Travel Association

The Ohio Travel Association is Ohio's largest trade association for the Ohio tourism industry, Ohio's third largest industry. OTA promotes economic development in Ohio, Ohio Annual Conference on Tourism, updated news and press releases on Ohio's tourism industry, Heartland Travel Showcase, Midwest trade show for group tours, Tourism Creates Jobs, and professional development for Ohio tourism members.


Ontario Motor Coach Association

The Ontario Motor Coach Association (OMCA) is a trade association representing the interests of Ontario’s Intercity bus industry. On behalf of its 1,200 members, including 80 motor coach and 80 travel and tour operations, the OMCA works with all government levels to highlight the achievements of the province’s Intercity bus business. OMCA members provide scheduled, charter, tour, contract, transit, and school bus services throughout the province.


Québec Bus Owners Association aka APAQ

Québec Bus Owners Association is a nonprofit organization founded in 1926 by pionneers in transportation by bus in Québec. QBOA members are companies specialized in public airport, urban, inter-city, chartered, school, tourist, and adapted transportation in all Québec regions.


Southeast Tourism Society

Founded in 1983, the Southeast Tourism Society is an organization dedicated to the promotion and development of tourism throughout the Southeast region. The membership includes state travel offices, attractions, hotels, motels, resorts, convention and visitors bureaus, chambers of commerce, airlines, car rental agencies, newspapers, travel publications, and other travel related entities.


The Student & Youth Travel Association (SYTA)

SYTA is the nonprofit, professional trade association that promotes student & youth travel and seeks to foster integrity and professionalism among student and youth travel service providers. SYTA is "The Voice of Student & Youth Travel."


Texas Travel Industry Association

Based in Austin, the Texas Travel Industry Association unites businesses, organizations, associations, and individuals throughout Texas who are dedicated to developing Texas tourism to its fullest potential. The Tourism Association of New Mexico

The Tourism Association of New Mexico serves as the advocate, educator, and unified voice for New Mexico's tourism industry working to ensure its growth and success through collaborative efforts.


Travel Industry Association of America

The Travel Industry Association of America (TIA) is the Washington, D.C. based, nonprofit association that represents and speaks for the common interests and concerns of all components of the U.S. travel industry. In existence since 1941, it is the recognized leader in promoting and facilitating increased travel to and within the United States in order to make America the world’s No. 1 tourism destination.


United Motorcoach Association

The United Motorcoach Association Founded in 1971 as the United Bus Owners of America, UMA’s membership now includes over 875 motorcoach companies. Another 215 motorcoach manufacturers, suppliers, and related businesses are currently “Associate” members of UMA.


United States Tour Operators Association

Simply stated, the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA) is a professional association representing the tour operator industry. USTOA is composed of companies whose tours and packages encompass the entire globe and who conduct business in the U.S. Member companies are responsible for the majority of tours and vacation packages sold by travel agents in the U.S.


Wisconsin Association of Convention & Visitors Bureau

Formed in 1983, WACVB initiates and administers cooperative ventures among Wisconsin’s top destination marketing organizations to enhance the Wisconsin's tourism industry promotional and educational efforts. WACVB currently has 33 members, representing more than $30 million in tourism promotional budgets to drive tourism growth in Wisconsin.
